On the whole, it just sounds too mechanical. Each note sounds independent of the other; It's missing the distinct human element. Were an actual person playing the guitar, they would have vibrato on the strings. There would be chords to further enhance the sound of the guitar.
The bass and drums sound tacked on, too. The drums especially because it's just the same loop over and over. The bass suffers the same problem, and it sounds like it's being synthesized off of a keyboard.

Thanks for the review. The whole song was indeed made on a keyboard, hence all the sounds sound so 'synthed' as you say. If i could play the guitar, then i would obviously record a better version. However, i doubt that would happen in the near future...!

Really great stuff here. I like how it starts with the cello and then builds into the rock/orchestra segment, and then again when it switches to the string/choir pieces. The overall sound is just incredible, and I was a bit mad when it ended. I'd love to hear more of this genre you've provided.

The choir sounds too fake. If anybody tried to chant like that, they'd hyperventilate and wouldn't be chanting anymore. This could be remedied if you use multiple choir tracks in different keys to give variation; Layering of the tracks may also help to alleviate how choppy it sounds because it really needs to sound much smoother. Other than that, it's a really nice piece and well composed.

As I listened, I could imagine a rolling foothill with farms and commonhouses (like in 16th century England). When it changes at around 1:34, I began to imagine a grand English castle. The 'camera' is circling around and showing off the surrounding landscape; Rolling foothills, scattered farmland, an overlook for the ocean... Almost seems like it's a brisk spring or autumn morning.
In short, it appeases to the senses. I like it.
